DESCRIPTION:In addition to the practice of meditation\, study and contemplation are essential for developing on the Buddhist path.\nThe Bodhi Path Instructors offer a longer-term online study program that provides a good initial foundation for understanding the Buddhist path.\nThe study base for this is the ‘Jewel Ornament of Liberation’ by Gampopa\, a text that lays out the entire path to awakening.\nThis complex text will be presented in accessible form with subsequent opportunity for reflection and exchange. \nThe program will take place every second Tuesday of the month from 19.30h to 20.30h approximately. \nThe next dates are as follows:\n– Tuesday\, February 11th\, chapter 13\, 2. part\, Dr. Robert Polly\, Bodhi Path Karlsruhe\n– Tuesday\, March 11th\, chapter 14\, 1. part\, Irena Stetinova\, Bodhi Path Prague \nMore dates to come. \nThe study series is open to all who register for it. The zoom link will be sent out shortly before each date.\nPlease register here: https://forms.gle/unUB8d3fm8qKxYWM9 \nThe Bodhi Path Instructors\, some of whom are also responsible for a Bodhi Path center\, have been participating in the Bodhi Path Instructor Training for about 10 years\, which was recommended by both Shamar Rinpoche and Jigme Rinpoche. This includes studying various topics from the Bodhi Path curriculum compiled by Shamar Rinpoche\, such as the above text by Gampopa\, Shamar Rinpoche’s Lojong teachings\, and topics from Mipham Rinpoche’s ‘Gateway to Knowledge’. These topics were taught by Trinlay Rinpoche\, Acharya Tenzing Wangpo and Lama Jungne.\nWith Jigme Rinpoche’s permission\, they pass on here what they themselves have learned. \nThis series is a free offer.
