Meditation according to Buddha’s teachings is a necessary support on the path to liberation. The different forms, starting with the meditation of calm abiding, serve the training of the mind. It is about being less disturbed by constantly arising inner distractions, and gaining a calm and peaceful mind. This is the basis for any progress on the path to awakening.

Trinlay Rinpoche will particularly pint out the comprehension of the way our mind functions and will explain the importance and the benefit of training oneself in meditation, which is mentioned as an essential support in the Bodhi Path Curriculum.

Karma Trinlay Rinpoche was recognized by HH the 16. Gyalwa Karmapa as the reincarnation of an important buddhist teacher. He finisched the traditional training for Tulkus and also studied at Western Universities. Rinpoche is said to be the first Western reincarnation of a Lama of the Karma Kagyu School and has been teaching throughout Asia, Europe and America.  He also guides the Bodhi Path Instructor Training in Renchen-Ulm.
