Lama Rabjam: Chenresig Retreat – via Bodhi Path Renchen-Ulm
Following the Bodhi Path curriculum and Lama Jigme Rinpoche's recommendation, a one-week retreat course on Chenresig practice will be offered annually, led by Lama Rabjam. Chenresig is the Buddha of Compassion, meaning he embodies the compassion of all Buddhas, and his mantra OM MANI PEME HUNG is certainly the most frequently quoted mantra in Tibetan Buddhism. The course includes explanations, practice sessions, and discussions. Course is just in German language. In February, Lama Jampa Thaye will continue his series of teachings in Prague on the central theme of Namshe / Yeshe—the distinction between consciousness and primordial wisdom. The basis for these teachings is The Shastra Distinguishing Consciousness and Primordial Wisdom, an important work of Buddhist philosophy and practice by the 3rd Karmapa, Rangjung Dorje (1284–1339) and a core text of the Kagyu tradition.
